What facilities do you provide here at endeavour?
Break out rooms for educational purposes

Chill out Rooms
Core activities are either leisure based or skill development
Kitchen for general use and meal preparation
Facilities including ambulant access and shower facilities
-
What do you think works well in relation to the space provided for each area/zone?
Supervision - staff need good visibility to observe each space
At present most centers have individual rooms for each activity
Skills based rooms - variety of seminar room tables able to be arranged in a variety of configurations
Art room- need a selection of activities from messy spaces (painting) to floor based activities (reading) drawing, projections, music therapy etc
Chill out rooms - lounges, tables/chairs, floor space, meeting with family members, waiting areas
Open plan multi purpose - at the moment most of those spaces combine activities from eating lunch to task based activities
Kitchen- barista activities, full kitchen
Showers /toilet allow for wheel chair access
Gardening
-
Are there any improvements you would suggest for these spaces? E.g. size/neighboring rooms etc.
See above
Most centers have outdated layouts - closed rooms, lacking ambience, inflexible layouts
We are looking for spaces which are welcoming and encourage play and learning
-
Do you believe this physical space represents the ‘goal’ of endeavor for all its customer/clients? If not why?
we need a better future vision of what best represents a learning and lifestyle centre for Endeavour Foundation
-
Can you notice any spaces that make clients feel comfortable / uncomfortable? Why
Clients and cares have commented on our outdated facilities. They would like light and inviting spaces, fostering good learning environment and making the clients feel valued
